OpenComms Copper Setup - OSP - Copper

The above OSP – Common settings contain setup utilities for features that may be common to Fiber, Copper, and Inside Plant. The following section will show how to setup features and devices that pertain to Copper only.

To access these setup tabs, click File > OpenComms Settings > OSP – Copper to display the following 5 setup tabs:

The Setup menu offers functionality to setup Copper Terminals, Information Blocks that can be placed in design, Copper Spans, Splitters, and Load Coils to be used for designing an outside plant Copper network.

Note: Administrative privileges can be created to ensure that only authorized users can create or edit devices in the Specfile. See the Admin Utilities section for help in setting the password.
